As you may know, I judge the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) robotics competitions and, this year, we’re trying to find some judges for the various qualifying competitions. In speaking with the main coordinator for the FLL events in our area, he indicated that we need more judges for each qualifying event. The qualifying events will be on Saturday November 22nd at Churchville-Chili Middle School, Edison Tech High School, PalMac High School and Webster Thomas High School. The judges will need to be at the event from 8:00 am until about 4:30 pm each day.
Details about this year’s game are available at: http://firstlegoleague.org/community/fll/game.aspx
Note: You only need to be familiar with the game — the referees will be scoring the game, NOT the judges.
There will be a judge information session on Friday November 14th from 6:00 – 7:30 PM to review this year’s game and the process that we will be using for judging. Final judging assignments for each event are still being determined and will be review at the judge’s meeting.
We still need about 3-5 judges for each site, so if you know of someone who would be interested, please let me know.
